Most luxury hotels hide their wedding rates behind an enquiry form, and ITC Grand Bharat is no exception. The hotel's own wedding page lists spaces and capacities but no prices. Third-party listings fill the gap with a plate rate of ₹3,500 on one site, ₹3,800 for veg on another, and ₹3,000 to ₹4,500 on a third. Capacity ranges from 500 to 1,300 depending on who you ask. If you are budgeting a real wedding, that is a thin foundation.
This guide builds a better one. We read the hotel's official wedding page, the venue listings on WeddingWire, VenuePool and Spalba, compared every figure, flagged each disagreement, and turned the numbers into three full budgets for 100, 250 and 400 guests. Because many families weigh Gurugram against Rajasthan, we also compare it with ITC Rajputana and other Jaipur options from our Jaipur destination wedding cost guide. If you want a team to compare and plan the whole event, our destination wedding planners are a message away.
ITC does not publish a rate card, and public listings put the plate at roughly ₹3,000 to ₹4,500 before tax. We model a blended ₹3,500 to ₹5,500 across three meals for a luxury retreat, plus suites at an assumed ₹18,000 to ₹35,000 a night. On those inputs a two-day wedding comes to about ₹63 L – 1.16 Cr for 100 guests, ₹1.43 Cr – 2.7 Cr for 250 guests and ₹2.23 Cr – 4.3 Cr for 400 guests with a full buyout, including an 18% GST illustration. These are planning estimates, not a quote. Section 6 shows every line.
ITC Grand Bharat is a Luxury Collection retreat in the Aravalli foothills near Gurugram, built around a palace-style main building. Spalba describes it as a 104-acre estate that opened in 2013 and belongs to the Relais & Châteaux collection. For weddings, the property offers something city hotels cannot: space. According to the hotel, the whole property can be booked, with 100 suites and four Presidential Villas for family and friends, five indoor venues, four lawns, a poolside and a riverbank setting it calls the ghats.
A real wedding published on WeddingSutra shows how that variety gets used. About 40 guests from Scandinavia stayed at the hotel, and the couple ran a mehendi, a cocktail party, a telbaan, a poolside party, the ceremony and an after-party across different areas, each with its own mood: peacock and origami décor for the mehendi, a black-and-silver cocktail, a lotus mandap for the wedding. That is the real pitch: one gated property, many distinct settings.
Listings give the address as Hasanpur, Tauru, Mewat district, Sohna Road, Gurugram, Haryana, with PIN codes shown as 122051 or 122105 on different sites. That is south of the main Gurugram business districts, on the Aravalli edge toward Sohna. The distances below show how much listings differ:
| Distance | What listings say | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| From Delhi | About 37 km (VenuePool) | Rough guide only; traffic decides the real time |
| From Indira Gandhi International Airport | 38 km in one table; 45 km and about 60 km elsewhere on Spalba | Plan on 60 to 90 minutes in peak traffic; check flights on the Airports Authority of India site |
| From Gurugram city centre | About 23 km (Spalba) | Not a quick hop for evening guests |
| From Delhi Railway Station | About 52 km (Spalba) | Most outstation guests arrive by flight or car |
| From the nearest Metro | About 26 km to Sector 54 Chowk (Spalba) | Metro is not a practical guest option |
The hotel's wedding page is the best source, because it names every space. Third-party sites add some of their own numbers. Here is how they line up:
| Space | ITC wedding page | Third-party listings | Best used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prithvi (pillar-less stateroom) | Up to 200 guests | 300 (Spalba); 320–500 seated (WeddingWire) | Reception, seated dinner, indoor backup |
| Firdaus Lawns | Up to 350 guests | Spalba lists a 'Lawn 1' for 350 | Wedding ceremony, large evening |
| Vrindavan Lawns | Up to 350 guests | Not listed separately | Sangeet, second large event |
| Shatranj Lawns | Up to 300 guests | Not listed separately | Sangeet, dinner, mid-sized event |
| Vatika Lawns | Up to 125 guests | Not listed separately | Mehendi, haldi, family lunch |
| Peacock Lawn | Not named on the page | Up to 1,300 guests, 54,500 sq ft (Spalba) | Very large gatherings; confirm availability |
| Poolside, ghats, other halls | Listed; no capacities shown | Smaller venues 14–80 guests (Spalba) | Cocktail, intimate ceremonies, bridal prep |
The hotel links a capacity chart (PDF) from its wedding page. Ask for the current version and use it as the master document. Overall capacity is quoted as 100–500 on WeddingWire, 50–500 on VenuePool, and 1,000–1,300 on Spalba. The hotel also states that venues can host small groups, huge gatherings and simultaneous events.
A lawn listed for 350 may hold that number at a cocktail but fewer at round tables with a stage and dance floor. For any sit-down dinner, plan against the seated capacity with your actual layout, not the headline number. Ask for both figures per space, in writing.
Our rule of thumb: plan a seated dinner of up to about 300 on a lawn with a tent-ready backup, and keep Prithvi for a smaller or weather-proof event. If your list is beyond 500, ask in writing whether the hotel will commit to the largest lawn on your dates. For larger lists, our Jaipur venue directory shows properties built for 600 to 1,000.
Per-plate pricing is the biggest swing factor in the ITC Grand Bharat wedding cost, and the public figures vary:
| Source | Per-plate figure | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WeddingWire listing | ₹3,500 headline; veg menu for 300 guests from ₹3,000; non-veg (20 items, no seafood) ₹4,500 | Reviews rated 4.7 out of 5 from 4 reviews; small sample |
| VenuePool listing | Veg ₹3,800; non-veg ₹4,200 | Also lists indoor-only seating, which contradicts the hotel's lawns |
| ITC wedding page | No prices | Requests go through a Meeting & Wedding Requests form |
| A planner's published guide | Per-person packages of ₹45,000–₹1,00,000 for two days | Includes stay, food and basic activities; not a plate rate |
The honest reading: ₹3,000 to ₹4,500 is the starting band for a standard banquet menu, and a luxury retreat with live counters, ITC's signature cuisines and a full dessert spread will land higher. We model a blended ₹3,500 to ₹5,500 across three main meals, since daytime lunches cost less than dinners. If your family wants a Bukhara or Dum Pukht experience on the menu, expect to be at the upper end.
The hotel says guests can stay in 100 suites and four Presidential Villas, which matches Spalba's 104 rooms and suites. ITC also states that the whole property can be booked for a wedding. A third-party planner's guide notes buyout estimates above ₹2.25 crore depending on season, which is plausible for a 100-plus-room luxury retreat, but treat it as indicative.
No public source we found lists a suite rate for wedding blocks. That is normal at this tier: rates depend on date, block size and meal plan. For modelling, we assume ₹18,000 to ₹35,000 per suite per night in the wedding season. This is our assumption, not a published price. Replace it with the hotel's written quote.
One published guide suggests curated destination packages of ₹45,000 to ₹1,00,000 per person for two days, including stay, food and basic activities. As a sanity check, our models below work out to ₹63k – 116k per guest at 100 guests, ₹57k – 108k at 250 and ₹56k – 108k at 400, which includes décor, entertainment, photography and tax as well. If a package quote looks far below that range, ask exactly what it leaves out.
Everything below is a planning estimate built from public plate rates, our stated room assumption and the cost ranges in our Jaipur wedding budget guide. It exists to help you ask better questions, not to replace the hotel's written quote. All three assume 2 room nights, 3 major meals per guest over two days, 2 evenings of bar service, and a GST illustration at 18% on rent, catering, rooms and bar. Check the applicable slabs on the GST portal or with your accountant.

| B: 250 guests | ₹1.43 Cr – 2.7 Cr | ₹57k – 108k | Pool, Shatranj, Firdaus, Prithvi |
| C: 400 guests (buyout) | ₹2.23 Cr – 4.3 Cr | ₹56k – 108k | All lawns and halls |
L = lakh (₹1,00,000); Cr = crore (₹1,00,00,000); k = thousand. The planner fee is optional; remove that line and every total falls.
Two patterns stand out. First, catering, rooms and bar scale with every guest, while décor, photography and entertainment behave like fixed costs, so the per-guest figure drops as the list grows. Second, our totals can sit above some published guides because we count scope generously: two nights of suites, three full meals, a bar, décor, entertainment, tax and a contingency, not only a lawn slot and a plate. When you compare quotes, compare scope before price. Our guest-count budget page and the Hindi guide Jaipur mein shaadi ka total kharcha explain the same maths line by line.
A luxury quote looks complete until the add-ons arrive. These are the lines to look for, and how to keep each in check.
| Charge | Why it appears | How to control it |
|---|---|---|
| GST and service charges | Quotes are often pre-tax. At 18%, tax on ₹1 crore of taxable lines adds ₹18 lakh | Ask for an all-inclusive quote and confirm each slab |
| Venue use vs F&B minimum | Lawn use may be separate or folded into a minimum spend | Ask which applies and whether it is waived above a guest count |
| Bar and alcohol | Alcohol is permitted; one listing says outside alcohol is not allowed | Choose a fixed per-person bar package over open billing |
| Décor and production | Hotel décor teams are premium; outside designers may attract fees | Get both quotes and the access fee schedule in writing |
| Power and generators | LED walls, sound and lighting draw heavy load; winter air-quality rules can limit generators | Ask what the hotel supplies and what rules apply that week |
| Fireworks and drones | Winter restrictions in Delhi-NCR; permissions needed | Plan cold pyros or a drone show as an alternative and confirm who applies |
| Airport and guest transport | Property is roughly 40 to 60 km from the airport | Contract coaches and cars with a fixed schedule |
| Overflow stays | Guests exceed 104 rooms | Block a nearby hotel early and run a shuttle loop |
| Baraat logistics | Horse, dhol, band, route and assembly point | Fix a package with one vendor and agree the route in advance |
| Vendor meals and rooms | Dozens of crew need food and beds for days | Negotiate a vendor meal rate and room block upfront |
| Last-minute changes | Menu upgrades and added guests carry a premium | Freeze the menu and headcount 7 to 10 days before |

ITC Grand Bharat's strength is its lawns, which means season matters more than at a hotel with a vast indoor ballroom. A planner's guide describes peak as October to February, and shoulder months as August and September. Our own Jaipur season guide shows the same pattern, with peak dates from mid-November to mid-February running roughly 30 to 50 percent above base. These multipliers come from Rajasthan contracts, so treat them as direction for Gurugram, not a promise. Our month-by-month guide has the full table.
For peak months, start 9 to 12 months out at a property of this scale. Today is late October 2026, so November 2026 to February 2027 dates are already tight; look at March and April 2027 for better availability and negotiating power. Off-season weddings can be planned in 4 to 6 months. A flexible date is the strongest lever you have: moving a week, or to a weekday, can matter more than any discount on the plate.
Public sources agree on some rules and contradict each other on others. Treat the table as a question list and sign only when the answers are in the contract.
| Item | What public listings say | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Catering | In-house; outside caterers not allowed | Menu design, tasting, counter limits, dietary menus |
| Décor | WeddingWire says in-house; the hotel highlights its own décor teams | Whether outside designers are allowed and any access fee |
| DJ and music | One listing says in-house DJ; another says DJ not available | Which is correct, plus sound limits and the music cut-off |
| Alcohol | Alcohol permitted per WeddingWire and Spalba; VenuePool says outside alcohol not allowed | Bar package, licence hours and corkage if any |
| Outdoor spaces | VenuePool shows indoor-only seating, but the hotel lists four lawns | Rain plan, tent availability and which lawn is held for you |
| Advance and cancellation | Not listed publicly | Payment schedule, refundable portion and date-hold terms |
| Power backup | WeddingWire says basic lighting, electricity and backup power are included | Generator capacity and restrictions in winter |
| Parking and valet | Parking and valet listed; one site says 150+ cars | Space for baraat cars and vendor vehicles |
| Payments | Net banking, cash, cheque/DD and cards listed | Use official payment channels only; ITC warns about fraudulent requests |
ITC's wedding page states that it does not ask guests for financial details or solicit payments outside its official platform and warns about people impersonating the brand. Confirm every payment request through the hotel's official contact details on itchotels.com, and never pay a 'booking token' to an unverified number.
Matching each function to the right space is how a large estate pays off. Here is a plan we would sketch for a 250-guest, three-day wedding.
| Function | Suggested space | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome lunch | Apas Promenade or poolside | Relaxed, near arriving guests' suites |
| Mehendi | Vatika Lawns (up to 125) | Intimate, daylight, easy to dress with artist stations |
| Haldi | Vatika Lawns (morning) | Messy rituals stay outdoors; quick clean-up |
| Cocktail and pool party | Poolside | A real wedding there used yellow-and-green pool styling with a live band |
| Sangeet | Shatranj or Vrindavan Lawns (300–350) | Stage and dance floor with room to move |
| Pheras | Firdaus Lawns (up to 350) | Large open mandap with a tent-ready backup |
| Reception | Prithvi (up to 200 per the hotel) or a lawn | Seated indoor dinner or a lawn evening |
| Family lounge | A smaller hall or villa lounge | A quiet room for elders and bridal changes |
Lighting does more work than florals on estates like this. Candles, orchids, and a bold colour story, as the published real wedding showed, photograph beautifully and cost less than heavy installations. For ritual flow across traditions, see our page on Punjabi weddings and the full list of wedding types we plan. Pre-wedding portraits are easy to plan too; our pre-wedding shoot guide covers locations and costs.
Many couples shortlist ITC Grand Bharat and a Jaipur palace side by side. The honest comparison is about trade-offs, not a winner. Here are the two-day ranges we publish for Jaipur venues at 150 to 200 guests, next to our Budget B estimate for Grand Bharat at 250 guests:
| Venue | Type | Typical 2-day range | What you gain or give up |
|---|---|---|---|
| ITC Grand Bharat (our estimate, 250 guests) | Luxury Collection retreat | ₹1.43 Cr – 2.7 Cr | NCR access, brand trust, private estate |
| ITC Rajputana, Jaipur | 5-star city hotel | ₹80 L – 1.2 Cr | Same brand, city convenience, Pink City setting |
| Le Meridien Jaipur | Resort-style hotel | ₹65 L – 1 Cr | Large lawns, strong production |
| Fairmont Jaipur | 5-star palace-style | ₹70 L – 1.5 Cr | Grand scale, 245 rooms, reliability |
| Anantara Jewel Bagh | New luxury palace | ₹75 L – 1.5 Cr | Modern palace luxury |
| Rambagh Palace | Ultra-luxury palace | ₹1.5 – 2.2 Cr | Iconic royal setting, highest spend |

Luxury estates reward preparation. With five or six spaces in use, in-house catering, hotel and outside vendors, a fixed shuttle loop and several hundred guests, the failure points are timing, hand-offs and contract details rather than creativity. A planner reads the quote line by line, tracks the room block, books vendors at negotiated rates, designs the guest flow and runs the day.
At Weddings and Events by Amitesh, led by Amitesh Fauzdar, our team is based in Jaipur and plans weddings across Rajasthan. Many couples ask us to compare Gurugram retreats with Jaipur palaces before they commit, and we are happy to build that side-by-side sheet. If you are set on a Haryana venue, ask us in your enquiry whether we coordinate at that property. Planning fees start with the Essential plan at about ₹1.5 to 2.5 lakh and rise with scope; see our wedding packages for what each tier includes, and our real wedding stories for how couples fared.ITC publishes no rate card. On our planning model, a two-day wedding costs roughly ₹63 L – 1.16 Cr for 100 guests, ₹1.43 Cr – 2.7 Cr for 250 guests and ₹2.23 Cr – 4.3 Cr for 400 guests with a full buyout, including an 18% GST illustration. Treat these as estimates and request a written quote.
Listings show ₹3,500 on WeddingWire, ₹3,000 and above for a 300-guest veg menu and ₹4,500 for non-veg on the same site, and ₹3,800 veg and ₹4,200 non-veg on VenuePool. Luxury menus with live counters and signature cuisines often cost more. Taxes are usually extra.
The hotel lists Prithvi for up to 200, Firdaus and Vrindavan Lawns for up to 350 each, Shatranj Lawns for up to 300 and Vatika Lawns for up to 125. Third-party sites quote overall capacity from 500 to 1,300. Ask for the hotel's current capacity chart.
The hotel lists 100 suites and four Presidential Villas, and Spalba describes 104 rooms and suites. Confirm how many can be blocked for your dates.
Yes, ITC states that the whole property can be booked for a wedding. Ask about minimum spends, which usually rise in peak season, and compare against a large room block.
Public listings show catering as in-house only. Décor and DJ policies are inconsistent across sources, so get the rules in writing before you hire outside vendors.
WeddingWire and Spalba list alcohol as permitted, while VenuePool says outside alcohol is not allowed. Plan on the hotel's bar package and confirm corkage rules.
Listings say 38 to 60 km depending on the source. Plan 60 to 90 minutes in peak traffic and confirm transfer times with the hotel. Check flights on the Airports Authority of India website.
October to early December and February to March are comfortable for lawns. Peak pricing applies from about October to February. December and January bring cold nights and fog. See our best month guide.
Not necessarily. Our published ITC Rajputana range is about ₹80 lakh to ₹1.2 crore for 150 to 200 guests over two days. A like-for-like comparison depends on rooms, meals, bar, décor and tax, so compare scope, not totals. See our ITC Rajputana breakdown.
For peak months, start 9 to 12 months ahead. Off-season dates can be planned in 4 to 6 months. Shortlist several dates early to keep negotiating room.
Yes, for NCR-centred lists and couples who want a private luxury estate with a brand they trust. If you want a palace or fort backdrop, compare it with Jaipur using our destination wedding planners.
ITC Grand Bharat makes sense if you want a private luxury estate near Delhi, the reliability of the ITC kitchens, and room to run several events at once. The trade-offs are a drive from the city, in-house vendors for catering, winter air-quality and fog planning, and a price tag that rises quickly once rooms, bar and production are counted. The biggest risk is the information gap: capacities, room counts, distances and even policies differ from source to source, so use the questions in section 9, visit once in the evening, and get every figure in a written quote.
