The rule we use: roughly one room for every two out-of-town guests. Samode Palace, Chomu has 43 rooms — stunning for 80 guests, a logistics headache for 300. When rooms run short, overflow hotels and shuttles quietly add ₹2–5 lakh. If your list is 300+, start with venues like Fairmont, Jaipur or ITC Rajputana.
Jaipur venues fall into clear tiers — boutique havelis, heritage palaces, 5-star hotels and ultra-luxury palaces. Our guest-count-wise Jaipur wedding budget shows what each tier costs in full, including catering, décor and hidden charges like GST and service charge.

Some of the most beautiful venues sit outside the city — Chomu Palace, Chomu, Samode Palace, Chomu, Alila Fort Bishangarh and Umaid Palace Dausa. They are worth it, but budget for guest transport from the airport and between hotels.

The mistake we see most: choosing on photos alone. A 500-guest wedding at a 43-room palace is a logistical nightmare; a 100-guest wedding at a 245-room hotel wastes money.
