Taj Aravali Resort and Spa is at Kheemach Kheda, Bhujra, near Kodiyat Forest Chowki, on the Kodiyat Road side of Udaipur. It is a hill area on the outskirts, not in the lake district. The biggest space at the resort, about 3,900 sq m, with palm trees along the edge and mountains visible from the side. It takes up to 600 guests in reception style and about 300 seated at round tables. We use it for large receptions, the main wedding ceremony and big-production nights.
About 2,800 sq m with sweeping views of the Aravalli range. It holds up to 500 guests in reception style and about 250 seated. This is a favourite for the wedding ceremony and the sangeet when you want the mountains in every frame.
About 2,000 sq m, surrounded by greenery and resort walls, with a view of the hills and the pool. It takes up to 300 guests, or about 150 seated. It suits welcome dinners, haldi, mehendi and cocktail evenings because it feels private.
A golden-toned indoor venue for up to 450 guests in reception style and about 200 seated. It is the best weather-proof choice for a reception or sangeet, and our backup for any lawn function in winter nights or rain.
An intimate room of about 88 sq m for up to 50 guests. We use it for family dinners, rituals with close relatives, bridal preparation gatherings or a small gala.

These figures follow the resort’s own event listing. Real numbers drop once you add a stage, dance floor, live counters and a mandap, so we prepare a layout for each function before you commit to a guest count.

Taj Hotels does not publish a public price list for weddings at Taj Aravali. Venue directories list the price as “on request”, because the quote depends on your dates, guest count, rooms and functions. So any single per plate number you see online is only a rough guide.

The resort has 176 rooms, suites and luxury tents spread over the hill landscape, many with garden, pool or Aravalli views, and connecting rooms are available for families. Because the property is large, it can host most of a 200 to 300-guest wedding on site.
Our room plan usually looks like this: parents and elders in rooms close to the main arrival and lawns, the couple’s families in suites, and younger guests in tents or villas for a different experience. We also arrange a clear signboard and transfer plan, since the resort is spread out and guests should never have to search for their way at night.
Besides regular rooms and suites, Taj Aravali offers luxury tents, and some tent villas come with a pool and Aravalli views. Tents suit younger guests, friends and cousins, and give a camp-style stay during the sangeet weekend. They cost more than standard rooms, so we usually keep a small number for the groups that will enjoy them most.

The resort houses the Jiva Spa, an indoor temperature-controlled pool, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a kids’ zone, as listed with the resort’s J Wellness Circle programme. October to March is the best window. Days are pleasant, evenings are cool, and the hills look their best after the rains. These months also fill fast around good muhurat dates, so we suggest starting 9 to 12 months ahead for peak season.
