Anant Mahal is one of the newest big wedding venues in Jaipur, and that is exactly why finding its wedding cost is so hard. It opened recently, it has barely any reviews, and the hotel does not publish a wedding rate card. A couple of blogs fill the gap with confident numbers, and when you check them against the hotel's own website, some of those numbers do not hold up.
So we started from the source. We read the hotel's official pages, took the room, plate and package prices from the listing that publishes them, and then built the budget the way a planner does before a site visit. You will find the real spaces with their square footage, a capacity check that does not depend on anyone's claim, what the ₹35 lakh package actually contains, and three complete budgets for 200, 400 and 800 guests.

Before any price, one warning. Mansarovar has two venues with almost the same name, and search results mix them. Anant Mahal is a Black Rock hotel on Patrakar Colony. Anand Mahal Marriage Garden is a separate banquet and lawn on Patrakar Colony Road. If you quote one venue's plate rate while visiting the other, your whole budget goes wrong.

The official Anant Mahal weddings page describes a heritage-inspired hotel with courtyards, arches, terraces and halls, aimed at weddings, conferences and corporate retreats. Its guest reviews on the same site call it newly built, and a venue listing says it started in 2024. It sits in the same group as Ananta Spa & Resort and Beelwa Palace, two other Jaipur wedding properties.
That "new" label matters. A new venue gives you clean rooms and modern kitchens, but it also has less history behind it. A listing site shows 3 reviews, all five-star. That is a good start and not yet a track record, so treat your site visit as your due diligence, as we explain later.

Venue portals show their own phone numbers for the same hotel. Those may reach the portal's sales team and not the hotel. Ring the numbers above for the price, and keep every quote in an email thread. Before you call, note your dates, guest count, number of functions, rooms needed and whether you want an exclusive buyout.
Mansarovar is a large residential area on the south-west side of Jaipur. A venue listing says the hotel is in close proximity to Jaipur airport, which helps guests flying in. The hotel's own location page says it sits just outside the city centre and links to the airport, the railway station, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Amber Fort and Johari Bazaar as nearby places.
Because it is in a residential colony, two things need planning that a farm resort never has. First, the baraat. Moving a band, horse and a hundred relatives through colony roads at night needs a route, marshals and a word with the hotel about where the procession can start. Second, parking. The hotel lists four spaces with their area. A listing site gives seating and floating numbers for the same four. Put together, they let you check the claims.

The listing's numbers pass the test. Every seated figure sits inside our planning range for its area, so we trust them more than a blanket claim like "200 to 800 guests". Two cautions remain. The same listing also gives a second set of numbers (indoor hall 1,000 seated, lawn 800, poolside 200), so the sources disagree with themselves. And the pool area includes water, so ask for the usable deck area before you plan a seated dinner there.
One more mismatch: the hotel's weddings page calls the main hall Suvarna Mahal at 14,000 sq ft, while its homepage calls it Swarna Mahal at 16,500 sq ft. A 2,500 sq ft gap can change your dance floor, so ask for the plan drawing. Do not plan to fill every space at once. Your crowd moves between them, which is why a 1,500-guest lawn does not mean 1,500 plus 1,100 plus 325 plus 450.
The hotel lists three room types on its website: Evoke and Twin Evoke at 300 sq ft each, and a 600 sq ft Suite with a separate living area and a bathtub. Each takes up to three guests. A venue listing says the hotel has 100 rooms. The hotel's own site does not state a count, so ask for the number you can block.

With about 100 rooms at two guests each, the hotel holds around 200 guests overnight, and more if children share. Here is the quick table for your own list.

One listing site shows three price points for Anant Mahal. Together they tell a bigger story than any one number.

₹35 lakh across 100 rooms is ₹35,000 per room per day. Now check it against the same listing's own prices. The rooms alone come to 100 × ₹4,999, about ₹5 lakh. Three meals for 200 guests cost somewhere between ₹6 lakh (at an average ₹1,000 a plate across breakfast, lunch and dinner) and ₹12 lakh (at the full ₹2,000). That leaves about ₹18 to ₹24 lakh a day for the venue, the exclusivity and everything else in the package.
We are not saying the price is wrong. A new luxury hotel can price its package as it likes, and it may be an opening anchor for negotiation. We are saying that the venue share looks large, so ask for the package in separate lines: rooms, food, venue and any service charge. A bundled number hides the part you can negotiate.
Other four-star-and-above Jaipur venues on the same listing platform show similar plate rates. We have used that as a benchmark.

So ₹2,000 puts Anant Mahal level with its mid-premium peers, and well below a resort like Ananta Spa. If the hotel quotes more than ₹2,000 for the same standard menu, ask why. Non-veg at those peers costs ₹0 to ₹500 more than veg, which is useful for the next section.
The hotel's homepage says every meal at Anant Mahal is a celebration of pure vegetarian cuisine, and its dining page describes vegetarian dining on the rooftop Darbar, the Pool Courtyard and the Imperial Sky Deck. A listing says in-house and outside catering are both allowed. Put those together and one question needs a written answer before you print a single menu card.
Can the wedding menu include non-veg, and if so, who cooks it? There are four possible answers. The hotel does it in-house. An outside caterer cooks it in a separate area. It is not allowed on the property. Or it depends on the function. Each answer changes your cost, your guest list and your family conversations.

On drinks, a listing says the hotel has no in-house alcohol and no in-house DJ, but outside alcohol and an outside DJ are permitted. How we built it. Rooms run from the listed ₹4,999 up to ₹9,000 a night at peak. Overflow hotels run ₹3,500 to ₹6,000. Food per guest falls as the list grows, because bigger weddings have more guests who attend only the main dinner. We left out outfits, jewellery, invitations and gifts. The venue line is a placeholder until you have a written quote.
Why our numbers are higher than some blogs. One competitor shows a 2-day wedding for 300 to 400 guests at ₹25–70 lakh, and its table lists catering at ₹3–6 lakh for 350–400 guests at ₹1,500–2,200 a plate. That does not add up. 400 guests at ₹1,800 is ₹7.2 lakh for a single meal, which the same article later says itself. Over two days with several meals, food alone runs ₹26–40 lakh at 400 guests in our model. Such blogs also leave out the cost of guest rooms. Ours counts everything a real wedding pays for.
Cross-check with the listed package. Two days at the ₹35 lakh package is ₹70 lakh for rooms, meals and venue, before décor, photography, entertainment or the planner. Our 200-guest range of ₹49 L to ₹95 L covers all of it, so a negotiated itemised quote should beat the bundle.
Take the middle of the 400-guest column. About ₹29 of every ₹100 goes to food and drinks, ₹18 to rooms and overflow hotels, ₹20 to décor and lighting, ₹9 to entertainment, ₹8 to venue charges, ₹6 to the planner, ₹6 to photography and ₹4 to power and security. Food and rooms together take about half. The things you can change fastest are your plate rate and the number of rooms.

One more number most families never work out. A staying guest adds about ₹11,500 to ₹19,000 to the bill at this venue, which is food with GST plus a share of a room. Tax needs its own line. Plate rates on this listing are "taxes extra", and the room tax slab depends on the nightly rate, so check the current rules on the GST portal and ask the hotel to quote with and without tax.
A new hotel with courtyards, arches and a 25,000 sq ft lawn gives your decorator a good start, and a listing says outside decorators are permitted. That is useful, because you can compare quotes. It also means you must ask about rules: entry fee, deposit, early access, power load, and what you may attach to the walls and ceilings of a freshly built property.

Anant Mahal suits families of 200 to 500 who want rooms, food and venue in one place, like the look of a palace without paying palace prices, and are comfortable with a vegetarian-led menu. It also suits those who want Mansarovar, a residential and well-connected part of the city, for easy local guest access.
Look elsewhere if non-veg is non-negotiable and the hotel cannot confirm it in writing, if you need a proven track record with references from many weddings, if you want a countryside setting far from traffic, or if your budget is built around a ₹900 plate and a one-day wedding.

As a newer property, the hotel has reasons to fill its calendar, so you have more room to ask for terms. Ask for itemised pricing, a room block at a fixed rate, and a third-night offer. Be flexible on dates, since weekdays and shoulder months move the price more than any discount request. Decide food and bar early, because the sooner you say who cooks and who pours, the better the terms. And put every promise in the contract.
On payments, the pattern we see most is 30% at booking, 40% about three months before, and 30% a month before. Ask for the hotel's schedule in writing, and tie each payment to a date.
