The name says palace. The hotel is a boutique property of about 40 rooms in Bani Park, a few steps from the Sindhi Camp bus stand. That gap between the name and the size is where most budgets go wrong. People picture a palace-sized wedding at a small-hotel price, and neither is what Laxmi Palace sells.
What it sells is a heritage-style hotel with painted walls, a rooftop restaurant, a pool and a very central address, for families who want an intimate wedding close to the old city. If that is you, this guide gives you what the Laxmi Palace Jaipur wedding cost really looks like: the hotel's own room rates, the plate and rental figures that venue portals show, the true capacity of each space, and three full budgets for 30, 60 and 100 guests.
One thing to know up front. The hotel does not publish a wedding rate card. Room rates and contact details come from its own website. Event numbers come from listings that disagree with each other and with some blogs. We show you both sides and say what is ours.
According to a venue listing, the hotel began in 1988 when the family that owns it rebuilt and refurnished an existing building and turned it into a small hotel. It started with five rooms and has grown to about 40. The hotel calls itself a heritage-style boutique property, and its website describes frescoes and miniature paintings, open terraces, a rooftop restaurant, a pool and rooms with antique-style furnishings.
That history matters for a wedding. A hotel that grew room by room is intimate and personal, but it was not built around a ballroom or a lawn. It has no hall for 500. It has a rooftop, a banquet hall, a pool area and a conference room, and each of them is small. If you pick it for what it is, it is charming. If you pick it expecting more, you will be stretching it from day one.
Because several hotels in India use the Laxmi Palace name, always check the full name, Laxmi Palace Heritage Boutique Hotel, and the Bani Park address before you pay anyone.
These come from the hotel's own website.

Venue portals show other numbers for the same hotel, and those may reach the portal's sales team and not the hotel. Ring the number above for the price, and keep every answer in a message thread. Before you call, note your dates, guest count, number of functions and rooms needed.
Bani Park is a calm residential pocket right next to the old city. For a wedding, that is the hotel's strongest card. Your guests can arrive by train, bus or cab and be at the hotel in minutes, and the main sights are close. These distances come from the hotel's website.
| Place | Distance | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Sindhi Camp Bus Stand | 100 m | Easy for guests arriving by bus |
| Jaipur Main Railway Station | 1 to 1.5 km | Short transfer for train arrivals |
| Old City | 1 km | Walkable shopping and sightseeing on a free afternoon |
| City Palace | 2.8 km | Photo location and family outing |
| Hawa Mahal | 3.0 km | Classic Jaipur photo spot |
| Jantar Mantar | 2.8 km | A quick visit for guests |
| Rambagh Palace | 4.9 km | A luxury landmark nearby |
| Jal Mahal | 7.2 km | Evening drive and photographs |
| Amer Fort | 10 km | A half-day trip |
| Jaipur International Airport | 13 km | Easy for flying-in guests |
A central address saves money you do not see in the quote. Guests need fewer cars, a mehndi day can double as a sightseeing day, and the airport is about 13 km away. If you are also planning a pre-wedding shoot, the old-city locations are a short ride from here.
The trade-off is the street itself. Bani Park lanes are narrow, and the hotel's website says it offers public open parking, not a large private lot. We come back to that under logistics.
The hotel's website lists "meeting and banquet facilities" and a rooftop restaurant, but it does not give wedding capacities. For that you need venue portals, and they do not agree.
| Source | What it shows |
|---|---|
| VenueLook listing | Three spaces: Roof Top (50 to 70 guests, veg and non-veg), Darbaar Banquet Hall (veg) and a Conference Room, with a headline capacity of 50 to 80 guests. It says the hotel is not a good fit for a destination wedding. |
| WedMeGood listing | 60 seated and 80 floating in one area, about 39 rooms. A second entry shows 100 to 150 guests for indoor and poolside, with in-house catering only and outside decorators permitted. |
| Another blog | A meeting room for about 100, and a terrace and garden "to confirm". |
Our reading: each individual space holds about 50 to 80 guests, and the 100 to 150 figure only works if you use the pool area and a second space together or run two sittings. That is a very different wedding from the one a "50 to 120 guest" budget imagines, so ask the hotel for the area of each space and a layout drawing before you decide.
| Guest count | What works | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 40 | One space for each function, with comfortable seating and a proper stage | Spend on styling, not on size |
| 50 to 70 | The rooftop or the banquet hall for one function at a time | Pheras, dinner and dancing need separate zones |
| 80 to 100 | Two spaces in use together, or two dinner sittings | Extra staff, timing and a clear flow |
| More than 100 | Another venue for the main event, with the hotel for stay and small functions | The hotel alone will not seat the crowd |
The hotel offers four room types on its website, with starting rates shown per night. Room counts vary by source, from 38 to 40, so ask the hotel what it can block for you.
| Room | Size | Sleeps | Starting rate (hotel site) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Room (double or twin) | 129 sq ft | 2 adults + 1 child under 5 | ₹2,999 | Friends and couples sharing |
| Royal Room | 230 sq ft | 3 adults + 1 child | ₹5,999 | The couple or a small family |
| Family Room | About 330 sq ft | 4 adults + 1 child | ₹6,999 | Parents with children |
| Family Suite | About 330 sq ft | 4 adults + 1 child, two bathrooms | ₹7,999 | Parents and elders |
These are "starting from" prices that the hotel shows with a discount against a higher list price, so a wedding weekend can cost more. One portal shows a lower starting room price of ₹2,000. We would not plan around it, because the hotel's own site shows ₹2,999 as its lowest.
A Deluxe Room at 129 sq ft is small for a family with luggage, so a real wedding needs a mix. Here is one that works for roughly 64 guests.
| Room type | Rooms | Guests | Rate per night | Cost per night |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Room | 12 | 24 | ₹2,999 | ₹35,988 |
| Royal Room | 8 | 16 | ₹5,999 | ₹47,992 |
| Family Room | 6 | 24 | ₹6,999 | ₹41,994 |
| Total | 26 | 64 | ₹1,25,974 |
At the website's starting rates, that is ₹1,25,974 a night, or about ₹2.5 lakh for two nights, before tax and any wedding-date premium. A full house of 40 rooms at two guests each sleeps about 80 guests, so a 100-guest wedding always has some guests going home or staying elsewhere.
The hotel publishes cancellation terms for ordinary room bookings, and they tell you when it is busy.
| Period | Free cancellation window |
|---|---|
| 1 April to 30 September | At least 24 hours before check-in |
| 1 October to 31 March | At least 72 hours before check-in |
| 23 December to 1 January | At least 7 days before check-in. The hotel marks this as its peak period. |
A processing fee of ₹300 or 3% applies, whichever is higher. These rules are for individual room bookings. A wedding block will have its own contract, so ask for yours in writing. But the peak window is useful: if your date falls between 23 December and 1 January, expect the hardest negotiation and book early.
Four sources give four very different pictures of the Laxmi Palace Jaipur wedding price.
| Source | Room | Plate | Venue rental | Total for 50 to 120 guests |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel website | ₹2,999 to ₹7,999 | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| WedMeGood listing | ₹2,000 | ₹550 to ₹700, taxes extra | ₹25,000 | Not stated |
| VenueLook listing | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| One competitor blog | ₹3,000 to ₹8,000 | ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 | ₹1 to ₹4 lakh | ₹12 to ₹45 lakh |
The blog's plate and rental are two to four times the portal figures. That blog says openly that its numbers are rough estimates from similar hotels, which is honest, but it means you should not use them as the hotel's prices. The portal figures are the only ones that name the hotel, and they look low for a wedding menu. So we plan with a range: ₹700 as the floor and ₹1,500 as a realistic ceiling for a wedding menu with live counters, before tax.
| Menu tier | Plate rate before tax | What you usually get |
|---|---|---|
| Listed | ₹550–700 | A standard buffet, as shown on the portal |
| Basic wedding | ₹700–1,000 | Welcome drink, 2 to 3 starters, 3 to 4 main dishes, dal, rice, breads, 2 sweets |
| Standard wedding | ₹1,000–1,300 | 2 to 3 live counters, 5 main dishes, 3 desserts |
| Premium wedding | ₹1,300–1,500 | More counters, regional stations, mocktails, ice cream |
Add 18% GST to food, and ask whether a service charge applies. For rooms, check the current slab on the GST portal, because the rate depends on the nightly tariff.
Here is the full picture for two nights. These are our planning estimates, not quotes from the hotel. For a wider view of what weddings cost across the city, our destination wedding cost in Jaipur guide lays out every tier.
| Cost line | 30 guests | 60 guests | 100 guests |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venue charges (3 / 4 / 5 functions, placeholder) | ₹0.8–3 L | ₹1–4 L | ₹1.3–5 L |
| Rooms, 2 nights, with tax allowance (12 / 25 / 38 rooms) | ₹0.8–2.2 L | ₹1.7–4.5 L | ₹2.6–6.8 L |
| Food with 18% GST (5 / 4 / 3 meals per guest) | ₹1.2–2.7 L | ₹2–4.2 L | ₹2.5–5.3 L |
| Second sitting and extra staff | – | – | ₹0.3–0.8 L |
| Décor and lighting | ₹2.4–7.5 L | ₹3.2–10 L | ₹4–12.5 L |
| Photography and film | ₹1–2.5 L | ₹1.5–3.5 L | ₹2–5 L |
| Entertainment | ₹0.5–1.5 L | ₹1–3 L | ₹1.5–4 L |
| Power, permits and logistics | ₹0.3–0.8 L | ₹0.6–1.5 L | ₹1–2.5 L |
| Planner fee | ₹1.5–2.5 L | ₹1.5–2.5 L | ₹2–4 L |
| Buffer (8%) | Included in total | Included in total | Included in total |
| Estimated total | ₹9.2 L to ₹24.4 L | ₹13.5 L to ₹35.9 L | ₹18.4 L to ₹49.6 L |
| Per guest | ₹30,600–81,400 | ₹22,400–59,800 | ₹18,400–49,600 |
How we built it. About 80% of guests stay on site, two to a room, at ₹3,000 to ₹8,000 a night, with a 12% tax allowance. The venue charge is a placeholder of ₹25,000 to ₹1 lakh per function, anchored on the ₹25,000 shown on one portal. Décor runs ₹0.8 to ₹2.5 lakh per function in these small spaces. We left out outfits, jewellery, invitations and gifts.
What it tells you. The 60-guest wedding lands at ₹13.5 L to ₹35.9 L, which sits inside the ₹12 to ₹45 lakh range one blog gives, but toward its middle and not its bottom. Look at the per-guest row. A small wedding is not automatically a cheap one per guest, because décor, photography and the planner cost much the same at 30 guests as at 60. The 100-guest wedding is the cheapest per guest, but it also needs the most workarounds for space.
Take the middle of the 60-guest column. About ₹29 of every ₹100 goes to décor and lighting, ₹14 to food, ₹13 to rooms, ₹11 to venue charges, ₹9 to entertainment, ₹11 to photography, ₹9 to the planner and ₹5 to power and logistics. At a small hotel, décor is the biggest single line, because you are dressing spaces that are not built as wedding venues.
| Lever | What changes | Effect on a 60-guest wedding |
|---|---|---|
| Plate rate | ₹300 more on every plate, for four meals | ₹0.8 lakh more |
| Extra night | A third night of rooms and two more meals for the stay-in guests | ₹1.7–4 L more |
| Guest count | 10 more or fewer staying guests | ₹0.7–1.6 L either way |
| Décor level | Styled instead of simple, across four functions | ₹2.8–4 L more |
| Month | A peak December date against a shoulder month | Typically 20 to 40 percent on the same wedding |
A small heritage hotel gives you good bones: painted walls, arches, terraces, and a city view. It also gives you limits. Rooftops carry weight, power and fire-safety rules. A listing says outside decorators are permitted, which is useful, but you should ask about the load a rooftop can take, where the power comes from and what you may attach to the walls.
| Décor level | What you get | Per function |
|---|---|---|
| Simple | Fresh florals, draping, candles and warm lighting | ₹0.8–1.5 L |
| Styled | Custom mandap or stage, chandeliers, florals and hanging lights | ₹1.5–2.5 L |
| Statement | A full theme, with structures and concert-grade lighting | ₹3 L and above |
One portal says the hotel offers in-house catering only, and another lists the rooftop as veg and non-veg but the Darbaar Banquet Hall as veg only. Those two details need a written answer. If your family wants non-veg at the main dinner, you need to know which space can serve it, and whether an outside caterer is allowed at all.
The hotel's website describes a rooftop restaurant with local dishes, BBQ facilities and a buffet breakfast. It does not publish wedding menus. Ask for a tasting for the number of guests you expect, to see how the kitchen handles volume. And ask whether the same menu applies to every function or whether each one is priced separately.
This is the part of a Bani Park wedding that families forget. A baraat with a band and a horse needs a route, and old-city lanes are not made for it. The hotel's website lists public open parking, and another listing says free parking is available. Neither tells you how many cars fit.
A rooftop wedding is a bet on the weather, and Jaipur gives you good odds for much of the year.
| Season | Months | Price effect | What it means at Laxmi Palace |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peak | 15 Nov to 15 Feb | 1.3x to 1.5x | Cool evenings suit the rooftop. The hotel's own peak window is 23 December to 1 January. |
| Shoulder | October and 1 to 15 March | 1.0x to 1.15x | Pleasant evenings and better value. |
| Off-peak | April to June | 0.7x to 0.85x | Hot. Plan evening and indoor functions, and use the hall. |
| Monsoon | July to September | 0.6x to 0.8x | Cheapest, but the rooftop needs cover and a backup plan. |
Those price effects are patterns from our Jaipur contracts, not a rate card from this hotel. Muhurat dates matter more than the month, and weddings restart after Dev Uthani Ekadashi in the second half of November, so ask your pandit for two or three options.
Laxmi Palace sits at the small, central, heritage end of the market. Use this table for direction, because each quote has a different scope. The figures come from our own guides to these venues, except Laxmi Palace.
| Venue type | Size | Cost signal | Pick it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laxmi Palace | About 40 rooms, spaces for 50 to 80 | Our estimate: ₹13.5 L to ₹35.9 L for 60 guests | You want an intimate heritage wedding in the old-city area |
| Samskara Resort (farm resort) | 50 rooms, lawn for 800 | ₹17.5 lakh + GST buyout, room only | You want a whole property and a big lawn |
| Anant Mahal (new hotel) | About 100 rooms, lawn for 1,500 | Listed ₹4,999 room and ₹2,000 plate | You want a palace-style hotel with many rooms |
| Jaipur Vilas Resort (lawn venue) | No rooms, lawn for 1,500 | Listed veg plate ₹900 | You have a very large list and no need for rooms |
For a full list by budget and style, see our guide to wedding venues in Jaipur.
Book it if your list is under 100, your family is happy with a compact heritage setting, you like the idea of guests walking to the old city, and you want a rooftop and a pool without palace pricing. It also suits roka, engagement, mehndi, sangeet and small wedding functions, where an intimate setting is the point.
Look elsewhere if your list is above 100, if you want a lawn and a big stage, if you need large parking for a long baraat, or if you want a single venue to hold everything with room to spare.
Send these in one message on WhatsApp or email, and keep the replies together.
A boutique hotel can often be more flexible than a big palace, as long as you ask early and offer something. Offer a confirmed room block, a clear guest count and prompt payments. Ask for a complimentary room for the couple, a set plate rate across functions, a free decorator setup day, and a tax-inclusive quote. Be flexible on dates, since weekdays and shoulder months move the price more than any discount request.
On payments, the hotel asks for a 50% advance on direct room bookings. For a wedding, the pattern we see most is 30% at booking, 40% about three months before and 30% a month before. Ask for the hotel's wedding schedule in writing, and tie each payment to a date.
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 6 to 9 months before | Visit in the evening. Ask the twelve questions. Fix the dates and the room block. Check the muhurat. |
| 4 to 6 months before | Book décor, photographer and entertainment. Plan the baraat route and parking. Draft the guest list. |
| 2 to 3 months before | Menu tasting. Approve décor plans and the layout drawing. Confirm permissions and power. |
| 1 month before | Final headcount, rooming list and run-of-show. Brief your drivers and the family. |
| Wedding week | Vendor arrivals, rooftop set-up, guest arrivals, welcome lunch. |
Small venues look easy, and they are not. Space is tight, the street is narrow, and every function has to fit around the hotel's own guests. That is why many couples bring in wedding planners in Jaipur who have worked in compact spaces, and who can fit décor to a small room without crowding it, plan the baraat route, manage a multi-day timeline and book photographers, artists and guest transport.
Our own fee for a wedding of this size usually sits between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹4 lakh, depending on the number of functions and guests. Ask any planner for a fixed fee in writing, and ask them to show you a similar small-venue wedding they have run.
The hotel does not publish a wedding rate card. Our estimate for two nights is ₹9.2 L to ₹24.4 L for 30 guests, ₹13.5 L to ₹35.9 L for 60 guests and ₹18.4 L to ₹49.6 L for 100 guests, including rooms, food, décor, photography, entertainment and a planner. Get a written quote for your dates.
D-194, Jagdish Marg, Behind Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, Bani Park, Jaipur 302016. The bus stand is 100 m away, the railway station 1 to 1.5 km, and the airport about 13 km.
The hotel's website lists +91-9929397590, which also works on WhatsApp. Venue portals show other numbers that may connect to the portal and not the hotel.
Sources give 38 to 40 rooms. The hotel lists four room types: Deluxe Room, Royal Room, Family Room and Family Suite, with starting rates from ₹2,999 to ₹7,999 a night.
Listings show about 50 to 80 guests in each space, with some figures up to 100 to 150 for indoor and poolside combined. For a larger wedding, use two spaces, two sittings or a different venue.
One portal lists ₹550 to ₹700 per plate, taxes extra. A wedding menu with live counters will cost more, so we plan with ₹700 to ₹1,500 before tax. Ask the hotel what its plate rate covers.
No. It is a heritage-style boutique hotel in Bani Park, built by reconstructing an older building in 1988, according to a listing. The name is a style, not a size.
A portal says outside decorators are permitted and that catering is in-house only. Confirm both in writing, along with any fees.
One portal lists the rooftop as veg and non-veg and the Darbaar Banquet Hall as veg only. Ask which space can serve non-veg for your function.
It is central but the lanes are narrow and the hotel lists public open parking. Walk the route, ask about parking and plan cabs and a shuttle for guests.
October to March suits the rooftop. The hotel's own peak window is 23 December to 1 January, so book early for those dates. April to June is hot, and July to September needs a rain plan.
For peak winter dates, start 6 to 9 months ahead. For shoulder months, 4 to 6 months is usually enough.
It suits an intimate destination-style wedding with a small guest list and a central stay. A venue portal says it is not a fit for a large destination wedding, so choose another venue if your list is above 100.
It helps at a small venue, where space, parking and timing are tight. A planner who knows compact spaces can fit décor, baraat and entertainment into them.
Laxmi Palace is a small, central, heritage-style hotel and a good one for the right wedding. Plan it for 30 to 80 guests, use the rooftop and the hall for different functions, put your close family in the rooms and keep the baraat simple. The hotel gives you room rates on its website, not a wedding price, so use our budgets as a starting point, get the plate, rental and capacity in writing and visit once in the evening.
Want a budget built for your dates and guest list? Call or WhatsApp us on +91-9289184507, and we will send a line-by-line estimate within 48 hours.
Room types, starting rates, cancellation terms, distances, ratings and contact details come from the hotel's own website. The history, event spaces and capacities come from the VenueLook and WedMeGood listings. The plate and rental figures come from the WedMeGood listing, and the competing estimate comes from a published blog. Everything we call an estimate, a planning range or a rule of thumb is ours. Listings change, so confirm with the hotel before you pay.
